Matthew Ker

Matthew Ker aka MaJiKer is an award-winning, platinum-selling beatboxer, producer & songwriter based between London & Paris. He has produced two platinum selling albums and his work has earned three French Grammy’s, the BBC Radio 3 European Album of the Year, Critics’ & Press Prizes at the Sanremo Song Festival and the French Mercury Music Prize.

A prolific collaborator, he works with an eclectic range of international artists as well as creating his own projects in the studio & on stage. He has performed on Later… with Jools Holland, Top Of The Pops, several BBC Radio sessions, beatboxed at the BBC Proms and in a solo musical performance for TED Talks. Recent projects include performing as lead soloist in Anna Meredith’s ‘Concerto for Beatboxer and Orchestra’, directing vocalists in a BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour project alongside Charlotte Church and writing sessions with an exciting selection of up-and-coming singer-songwriters in London.
