Angus Webster

British conductor Angus Webster enjoys a growing career in the concert hall and opera house. He has conducted the Philharmonia Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and assisted at the Glyndebourne Festival. In the 21/22 season, Angus makes his debut with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and returns to Glyndebourne to assist on their 2022 production of Mozart’s ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’.
Angus won joint top prize at the Panula International Conducting Competition in 2018 and studied with Esa-Pekka Salonen at the Colburn School in Los Angeles.
