A welcome from the Director...

"Welcome to the South West Music School. You will see as you flick through the pages of this organisation that we are different from anything that has happened before in the South West and that we are not your conventional model for music education.

We are a virtual school, not based in one location, working across the whole region. Through our 3 stream programme you will receive mentoring, individual tuition and development and residential opportunities. The key is that you determine your programme of individual learning so that we can cultivate your ideas, potential and talent.

I am delighted to be involved in creating and developing this innovative model for nurturing and developing young musical talent across the South West and am extremely fortunate to be supported by our unique partnership and the Department for Children, Schools & Families.

We have just begun our third year with our full cohort of 45 students and what a start to the year!
