Induction Day
The learning year starts with an Induction Day in September where continuing and new students on the Core Programme come together to meet each other. New students will meet their mentor and mentors and students together will spend the day creating music in a variety of ways.
Residentials
Three times a year (in half terms and holidays) there will be residentials to bring all the South West Music School Core Programme participants together. These will be 3 or 4 days of focused learning looking at specific areas of musical development ranging from ‘Performance and Practice’ to ‘How to Manage Yourself in the Music Business’. The themes for the residentials will also be influenced by the findings from the Individual Learning Plans.
