Applications are now open for South West Music School 2012/13.
To apply please download the application form on the right hand side of this page. For more information about the application process please visit the How to Apply Page.
Students can audition to join the South West Music School Composer Programme from age 13-17yrs and can stay on the programme until they are 18yrs old.
If successfully accepted onto the Programme students will be provided with an individual tutor/mentor as well as being involved in residential projects.
South West Music School offers a new learning experience individually tailored to the student’s specific compositonal needs. Students learn and develop in their own planned time therefore enabling them to continue to participate, as much as possible, in their current musical life.
Students can stay on the Composers' Programme until they are 18 (subject to reaching agreed targets and annual re-assessment).
If students are more interested in developing their instrumental/vocal skills then they should look at applying for the Feeder Scheme.
For more information please visit the Frequently Asked Questions Page

The composition stream of South West Music School is run in partnership with Sound and Music and is supported by the PRS for Music Foundation.
