PASS 2011
Performing Arts Summer Sessions took place from 1st – 18th of August 2011
Mr John - led by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE) at the University of Exeter

Taking inspiration from Mozart's Don Giovanni, we spent 5 days with amazing tutors from the OAE making music and movement to tell a slightly different version of Mr John's story. As the week went by, we created loads of songs, learned some things about the history of instruments, and in the end performed a very exciting hour-long show for friends and family.
"This is an experience of my life and I will never forget it. Thank you!"

Music & Art @ KEVICC - led by Emma Trend and Ben Moon at King Edward VI Community College in Totnes

Young artists explored colour and shape with Ben Moon while musicians found out about musical expression and timing with Emma Trend. In a combined presentation, artists showed sketches, prints, collage, sculpture and paintings created during the 3-day session, and musicians played some classical pieces, a blues with improvisations and also their own composition!
"It was great to be encouraged rather than pushed to do new things" 7-year-old participant
"I really liked the variety of music we played" 10-year-old participant
