Terence Waldstadt
Terence Waldstadt is a nationally active professional rock musician, workshop facilitator, music tutor, sound engineer & speaker on many aspects of musicianship. He currently teaches privately and on a classroom basis, electric, acoustic & bass guitar, drums, vocals and ukulele. He has a huge wealth of 17 years experience in the learning, teaching, recording, writing and performing of music.
Terence began his musical journey at the age of 16 during a period of obsession with Jimi Hendrix. Within 5 years he had become an advanced musician on all rock instruments & also honed his song writing skills to a dynamic art. He then took a guitar teaching course and pursued a teaching career at Clive’s Music School & Totton College.
On moving to Devon, Terence started to flex his musical muscles & took Access To Music & Self Employment courses with a view to establish himself as a musician. Whilst writing & recording his own music under the stage name of Quartermoon, Terence simultaneously created an after school rock music workshop: Totnes School Of Rock, Funky Munks (Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute Band) & Classic Rock Solo Act : Rock Against The Machine. To promote his new ventures he became a pro busker, taking classic rock to the streets of Southern England. It wasn’t too long until he was headhunted by a tribute act to one of his favourite bands, Rage Against The Machine.
After playing many headline performances at prestigious venues and festivals such as J.B.s in Birmingham and Revolver in Liverpool, Terence joined Magic Bus with ex Oasis & Kula Shaker Keyboardist, Jay Darlington. They have recently completed recording an album at the legendary Sawmill Recording Studios.
Terence has received critical acclaim from magazines, local press, and various websites, with all of his acts and received an invitation to play at the New York International Music Festival in 2004. He continues to organize and participate in music events & perform, write, teach, give talks, inspire and facilitate innovative avenues for young people to evolve their own creative potential.
