Ross Brown

Ross Brown studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He has worked with a wide variety of both modern and period instrument orchestras, many as guest principal trumpet,  including The Academy of St Martin in the Fields, London Chamber Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, The King's Consort, Hanover Band, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, English Chamber Orchestra,  BBC Symphony Orchestra  and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to the SWMS, he teaches at the specialist music department of Wells Cathedral School, and is Natural trumpet and Cornett teacher at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
