Matt Booth
Matt is the co-founder and Chair of the Bristol Music Foundation. The Bristol Music Foundation (BMF) is an industry led organisation that provides a dynamic link to the national and international music industry, and drives the music sectors engagement with regional and national industry and government agenda. The BMF is dedicated to skills development, education and training, and to lobbying for inward investment into the sector in the region.
Previously Matt has worked as a musician and studio engineer, and formed a live music promotions company in the mid 1990’s that promoted over 500 shows including Coldplay, Travis and Muse. He was music coordinator of the Ashton Court Festival from 1996 to 1998, ran an artist management company, and was Senior Manager at Crazeltown Ltd to 2005 with a particular focus on expanding the company’s base in America. Matt still currently acts commercially for several SW based artists.
