Mary Condliffe

Mary studied the Double Bass at the Royal College of Music and after graduating, freelanced in London.  In 1984 she gained a full time playing position with the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera.  She has taught Double Bass for almost 30 years.  Many of her students have gone on to win awards and scholarships at major conservatoires and also gained positions in British orchestras.

Mary is currently teaching at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.  She is also involved with the European String Teachers Association and has written articles for the Double Bassist Magazine.
