Karl Meyer

Karl has been leading the music programme at Plymouth Music Zone for the past three years having been a PMZ Music Leader for 4 years before that. But as well as organising 80-100 activities every week he also leads many of them, as one of Plymouth Music Zone’s most skilled facilitators. Karl plays guitar, bass, drums and sings. He plays guitar with local noiseniks Consolation Prizefighter and bass with lounge-core trio The Rooftop Gambler who’s debut EP Turned Out The Light has just been released nationally to critical acclaim. Karl gained his BA in Music from Dartington College of Arts and eats, sleeps and breathes music.
